Weakley County Fiber Internet Installation

The Weakley County Mayor’s Office has developed a new way for citizens to inquire about fiber installation in their area. Weakley Countians may visit www.weakleycountytn.gov and under the “Contact Us” tab, click “Fiber Internet Inquiry”. From there they will be directed to an online form which will gather their name, contact details, and address. This data will be collected and shared with WK&T to help citizens gain insight into current grant area progress and future grant area plans. Once a citizen has filled out this form, they can expect correspondence related to their eligibility for current or future projects.

Mayor Bynum and members of the Weakley County Commission are hopeful that this form provides citizens with an easy way to gain awareness of the progress of fiber installation in Weakley County as it relates to them. Not all residences are included in current grant areas, however, these citizens will be helping Weakley County Government and WK&T in their efforts to bring fiber internet to all of Weakley County by providing their information which will be stored and could be referred to in future project discussions and opportunities as they present themselves.

Mayor Bynum and the Weakley County Fiber Committee appreciate citizens’ continued support and patience as we continue this slow but steady progress toward reaching the goal of making high-speed fiber internet accessible to every citizen in Weakley County.

There needs to be a Palmersville or Other selection in the drop down, especially for the people living in Weakley County but under the 38242 Paris zip code.

Why is it you are using all the county citizens money but yet not supplying fiber to all citizens??…ie Sharon?..kinda reminds me of taxation without representation. But yet #1, the county is paying wkt 132000 a year for 30 years which the state comptroller deemed a illegal contract.?? But yet #2, Spectrum is running fiber to all over the county and doing it without county funding.?? This wkt project had a bad smell from day one.
