Jerry Lynn Sanders, 62, of Union City passed away 7:25 a.m. Monday, April 3, 2023, at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery in Obion.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the hour of services Thursday.
Jerry was born Sept. 16, 1960, in Dyersburg, son of Mary Belle (Hamm) Coleman of Union City and the late Nelson Coleman. He had been employed at the former World Color Press in Dyersburg and collected mussels on the Tennessee River for several years. Jerry served in the United States Air Force.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Jerry Lynn Morton and wife, Ashley, of Danville, Va.; one sister and brother-in-law, Patty Coleman Melton and husband, Tim, of Clinton, Ky.; one brother, Steve Coleman of Tiptonville; and two grandsons, Christopher Morton and Cameron Morton, both of Danville.
