Mildred Kemp

Mildred Kemp, age 98, of Union City passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 17, 2023, in East View Cemetery. Friends were asked to meet at the cemetery.
White-Ranson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Kemp was born on April 5, 1924, to the late Noble Franklin Crocker and the late Addie Brewer Crocker. She married Hurley Kemp on Oct. 20, 1943. He preceded her in death on Feb. 23, 1987. She worked as a nurse at the former Obion County General Hospital and was a member of Berea Church of Christ.
She is survived by one son, Tony Kemp, and his wife, Cindy, of Beach Bluff; four grandchildren, Toni Sanford, Andrea Draper, Anthony Kemp and Athenia Scherffius; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Kemp was preceded in death by one daughter, Dion Thorpe; her sister, Mary Ruth Davis; and her brother, Leon Crocker.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Berea Church of Christ.
