Dresden woman charged with possession of meth

On Feb. 2 at 8:15 a.m. Deputy Danny Buington with the Weakley County Sheriff’s Department arrested 39-year-old Rebecca Todd for a Weakley County General Sessions warrant for shoplifting. While conducting a search of her person, Buington found a small bag containing 2.19 grams of a white crystal substance believed to be meth.

Todd admitted that the white crystal substance was meth. Todd was charged with possession of schedule II and transported to the Weakley County Jail.
