Ridgley woman arrested on meth charges in Gleason

A Ridgley woman is facing meth charges after a traffic stop led to a search of her vehicle in Gleason.

On Jan. 24 a traffic stop was conducted by Investigator Kyle Watkins with the Gleason Police Department on a silver Chevrolet traveling on Highway 22 with dark window tint. During the course of the stop all occupants of the vehicle gave consent to search the vehicle and all items inside the vehicle.

Upon searching the backseat area, a purple make-up bag was searched and recovered was a plastic bag containing a white crystal substance that tested positive for meth. The meth weighed 0.4 grams.

The bag it was recovered in did have 32-year-old Taylor B. Turnbough’s initials on it. Turnbough was advised of her Miranda rights and then stated that the bag was hers.

Turnbough was charged with Schedule II Methamphetamine.
