Gleason man arrested for theft of services

A Gleason man is facing theft of services charges after walking out of J.W. Brewskies without paying his bill.

On Jan. 29, Sergeant Zachary Brock with the Weakley County Sheriff’s Department responded to the local bar in reference to a customer walking out without paying his tab.

Upon arrival, Brock made contact with the bartender who stated that 58-year-old Kenneth J. Snider tried to close out his tab and handed the bartender his card so he could pay. The card declined and when Snider was told that the card declined, he stated, “that’s not my problem” and walked out without paying.

Snider was no longer at the scene when Brock arrived. Snider has been charged with theft of services.

DISCLOSER: Information obtained came from the Weakley County Sheriff’s Department affidavit provided by Sergeant Zachary Brock.
