Lois Harbour

Lois Dallene Harbour, age 81, of Union City passed away Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
Graveside service were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, 2023, in East View Cemetery, with Bro. John Dacus officiating. The family received friends Saturday from 1-2:45 p.m. at White-Ranson Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Steve, Mark and Gage Cunningham, Josh Cherry, Todd Faulkner, Matt Dacus, JK Sadler and Rhett Berlage.
Mrs. Harbour was born Feb. 12, 1941, to the late Alpha Cunningham Sr. and the late Suedell Stover Cunningham. She married John S. Harbour on Aug. 17, 1963. He preceded her in death on Feb. 13, 2020.
Lois was an avid bridge player and former director of the Dresden Duplicate Bridge Club and the former manager of the Union City Duplicate Bridge Club. She was a member of the ACBL and a Life Master in Bridge. She enjoyed all things basketball and was an excellent guard during her years at Hornbeak High School. In her later years, she enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles and playing with her furbaby Winston, who spent countless hours on her lap.
Mrs. Harbour is survived by her son, Erik Harbour of Chino, Calif.; two sisters, Ann Cherry and her husband, Mike, of Dukedom and Carolyn Wells of Olive Branch, Miss.; and her brother, Stover Cunningham and his wife, Joyce, of Dukedom.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, John Ray and Joe Matt Cunningham; and one sister, Juanita Wallace.
