John Primrose

Mr. John Michael Primrose, 73, a resident of Troy, died Jan. 24, 2023 at his residence.
White-Mahon Funeral Home is in charge of cremation services.
Mr. Primrose was born on July 13, 1949, in Union City to the late L.T. and Mary Francis (Powell) Primrose.
He worked as an assistant plant manager for Brown Shoe Company. He was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Selmer.
He served in the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam veteran.
The family requests memorials be sent to: American Liver Foundation or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Mr. Primrose is survived by a half-brother, Robert Orsborne and his wife, Ina, of Troy; several nieces and nephews; and an uncle; Bobby Ransom of Union City.
He was also preceded in death by his aunts, Nadine Ransom and Charlene Free-man.
