NOT QUITE YET — Fourteen-month-old Astella Lear was quite cautious of Santa Claus despite the fact that her sister, 51⁄2-year-old AddyBeth Aldridge, had already crawled up in his lap to give the jolly old elf her Christmas wish list. She almost got close enough to touch the little stuffed reindeer before walking away. The girls, who are the children of Kailey Lear and Josh Aldridge of Woodland Mills, saw Santa Saturday morning at the Woodland Mills Pictures with Santa event, where children were also treated to crafts and snacks. Additional Christmas offerings this month include the Troy Christmas parade Saturday at 7 p.m., “Breakfast Snacks with Santa” at Kenton City Gym from 8-10 a.m. Dec. 17 and a visit from Santa at Hornbeak City Hall on Dec. 17 from 1-3 p.m.
