DOOR DEMONSTRATION — School resource officer Sgt. Jonathan Reyna (far left) demonstrated the use of Life Check Systems’ technology-enhanced monitoring system, showing the tiny device affixed to the wall to the left of the doors and its link to his cell phone, at Obion County Central High School during a presentation Wednesday afternoon. Among those on hand were (continuing from left) state Rep. Chris Hurt, Obion County Mayor Steve Carr (partially hidden) and Brentwood-based Life Check founder and chief executive officer Brandt McMillan. Obion County Schools is doing a pilot program with Life Check and currently has its devices in four schools.
