Dresden man arrested for public intoxication and drug paraphernalia

On Nov. 12 around 10:47 a.m. Patrolman Aaron Carter with the Martin Police Department was dispatched to 118 Meek Street in reference to a suspicious person. Upon arrival, he made contact with the defendant, John David Baily.

Upon further investigation, it was discovered that Baily had slurred speech and was unsteady on his feet. Baily stated that he had taken some prescribed hydrocodone pills earlier.

Upon conducting a search of Baily’s clothing, Carter discovered three pipes used for smoking illegal substances, which were taken into evidence.

Baily was charged with public intoxication and unlawful drug paraphernalia uses and activities.
