UNDER CONSTRUCTION

UNDER CONSTRUCTION — Work on the I-69 construction project continues along U.S. Highway 51 between Union City and South Fulton, where northbound traffic has now been detoured to the adjacent two-lane Ken-Tenn Highway for motorists headed toward the Twin Cities and Kentucky. The southbound lanes of Highway 51 headed toward Union City are open as work continues on the northbound side, with southbound motorists using the newly-constructed overpass around the construction zone. Motorists who detour along Ken-Tenn Highway should use caution and be aware there are many side roads and driveways along that route, as well as increased traffic from detoured semi rigs and increased traffic this time of year due to farmers harvesting fields.
