Tommy Webb Jr. and his family which he calls “The Alvarado-Webb Family” includes his sons Cooper Potts-Webb, David Rivera, Austin Alvarado-Webb and Xander Alvarado-Webb and his spouse, Ivan Alvarado. Together they have created their own little “Halloween Land” in their yard on Lindell Street in Martin.

Webb said that they have been putting their display together for the past ten to twelve years. He said that they do it every year for fun and “the people who drive by all the time? They love it!”

Webb said that they get great comments all the time from people on social media and those folks that stop by to admire the décor. “We even left the decorations up longer last year because two older ladies told us they enjoyed it so much.”

Xander stated that the people at his school “go crazy over it. They love the decorations.” Webb said that the school busses love coming by and that the kids just really enjoy it.

Webb said it takes them a full two weeks to get all of their decorations put up. “We’ve been working longer than that this year because we’ve acquired a lot of new stuff.” They have a giant spider under a tree covered with webbing, two 20-foot skeletons, a 20-foot werewolf, a giant dragon, a horse and carriage and much, much more. He said that they re-use some of their decorations for Christmas décor as well.

Webb said they get a lot of trick or treaters and that last year they got so many people that they cleared out numerous bowls of candy. “People were parking in the lot next door!”

Webb and his family said they do it because they love Halloween, they love to see people’s reactions and they enjoy all the trick or treaters they get every year. They are all looking forward to Halloween this year, and, from the look of their yard, their home looks to be a pretty eventful and fun place to go trick or treating and get some photos!
