FACEPAINT SHOWDOWN — Face painting is always a huge hit during special events. The 51st Reelfoot Arts and Crafts Festival, which kicked off Friday and wound down late Sunday afternoon, was no exception. This year’s art fest was deemed a success once again, offering the younger festival fans as many as three face-painting stations to choose from. Haylee Cole (left), 7, of Ridgely opted to give Alicia Tippit of Reelfoot Lake her business just before the event shut down on Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Tippit’s use of bright colors, wide array of options and glitter were a favorite choice this past weekend.
