Wanda Lee
Wanda Sue Lee, 78, a resident of Troy, died March 24, 2022, at her residence.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 27, 2022, at White & Mahon Funeral Home. The Rev. Johnie Dalton officiated. Burial followed in Mt. Ararat Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Brad Baggett, Bryan Cranford, Dan Cleek, Hunter Ward, Eric Burkeen and Brent Richie.
The family received friends from 5-8 p.m. Sat-urday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lee was born on March 18, 1944, in Troy, daughter of the late Thomas Melvin and Lora Iona (Cochran) Cherry.
She worked as a manager for Salant and Salant. On Jan. 11, 1963, she married David “Skipper” Lee. He survives.
She was a member of Mt. Ararat Cumberland Presbyterian Church for 53 years.
In addition to her husband, she is also survived by a daughter, Cindy (Kevin) Kill of Troy; son, Stan “UG” (Dena) Lee of Troy; four grandsons, Blaine Lee of Stanton and Hayden Lee, Hunter Ward and Chase Ward, all of Troy; a granddaughter, Samantha Quast of Troy; a great-granddaughter, Addison Quast of Troy; and a sister-in-law, Mattie Moran of Troy.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Watson Cherry; her grandmother and grandfather-in-law, Robert and Bertha Cleek; her mother and father-in-law, Clarence and Mary Katherine Lee; and a brother-in-law, Tom Lee.
