REASON TO DANCE — Samburg Tourism Committee chairman Ed Mayberry (left) spoke to Tennessee Department of Tourism Development chief customer officer Dennis Tumlin at an informative session held Tuesday morning at The Boathouse Restaurant in Samburg regarding the upcoming Bill Dance Signature Lakes initiative that was announced by Gov. Bill Lee in December 2021. The initiative will include infrastructure improvements both above and below the water, along with branding and marketing to drive visitation and economic impact. Reelfoot Lake is one of 18 Tennessee lakes that will benefit from these improvements.
