AIR TIME

AIR TIME — Ten-year-old Dillon Bates, son of Sabrina Bates and David Bates, both of Martin, got some air off of one of the apparatuses at the Union City skate park Monday afternoon. He has been skating for about two years and said he was really excited to know Union City has a skate park. Watching was Eric King, 9, son of Tina King of Palmersville and Eric King of Dresden. He was in Union City visiting with his grandmother, Roann Clark of Union City. The boys picked what may have been the best day of the week to get outside for skateboarding as skies were clear and the high was 72. Today’s weather has been wet, with rain falling overnight and continuing into the late afternoon. The National Weather Service has predicted the potential for additional rainfall on Wednesday and Thursday, with temperatures only reaching into the low- to high-50s throughout the rest of the week.
