Bill Breeden

William D. “Bill” Breeden, 83, of Union City passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022, at AHC Union City.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Bill was born May 31, 1938, in Waverly, son of the late Willie and Carlene (Stringer) Breeden. He married Paula (Cardwell) Breeden May 28, 1983. She passed away Nov. 22, 2017. He worked for Tri-County Farmers Equipment in Newbern as a master mechanic for many years. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, boating and fishing. He spent many hours working alongside his wife on their yard. It was a labor of love as the yard looked like a park. He was quick with a joke and always had a smile for everyone he met. He was loved by many friends and family and he will be missed greatly.
He is survived by one daughter, Robin LeBeau of Bourbonnais, Ill., and her extended family; a stepson and daughter-in-law, Sean and Amy O’Bannon of Germantown; three grandchildren, Brooke O’Bannon of Golden, Colo., Webb O’Bannon of Memphis and Cara O’Bannon of Chattanooga; sister and brother-in-law, Jo Ann and Buddy Long of Troy; sister, Linda Phillips of Union City; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by one son, William Dean Breeden Jr.; two sisters, Maxine Clemmons and Cathy Younger; and seven brothers, James Breeden, John Breeden, Robert “Slim” Breeden, Phillip Wayne Breeden, Donald Breeden, Terry Breeden and Ricky Breeden.
