TO SURVEY CITY — Samburg Mayor John Glessner (center) pointed out areas of Samburg which will be surveyed and marked so residents know where and where not to rebuild in the city following the Dec. 10, 2021, tornado which hit the city. Joining him to look at the map, which was produced by the late Al Hamilton and is on loan to the city by Chad Hamilton, were vice mayor Grant Reed (left) and alderman Mitchell Goree. Residents will be required to obtain a building permit when doing any kind of construction work, including installing siding on a house, putting on a roof or building a shed.
