A CLOSER LOOK — Dale Kernahan of SOAR: Save our American Raptors showed off an American kestrel during a birds of prey program held Saturday at the 18th annual Reelfoot Lake Eagle Festival. She and her husband, John Stokes, have been caring for and educating with birds of prey for a combined 58 years. The eagles festival will be the focus of Friends & Neighbors March 17.
