A PROMISED DELIVERY — U.S. Sen. Marsha Blackburn (second from left) spoke with Samburg Mayor John Glessner (right) Tuesday before taking a quick tour of the catastrophic damage the city suffered from a EF-4 tornado on Dec. 10, 2021. Mrs. Blackburn was impressed by the unprecedented level of recovery and cleanup the small town had achieved and reassured the mayor she believes the public assistance rescue funds for the Tennessee towns hit hardest by the storms will be approved. Mrs. Blackburn was accompanied on the tour by (from left) her personal staff member Jon Adame and Glessner’s wife and son, Sophia Glessner and Reed Glessner.
