PARADE OF TREES — Crystal Family and Community Education Club members Phillis Little (left) and Judy Taylor placed hand-made ornaments on a Christmas tree just outside the children’s department at the Obion County Public Library last week. Ms. Taylor said the ornaments are made from recycled Christmas cards. The library is seeking local individuals, families, businesses and organizations to participate in its annual Parade of Trees. Trees may be installed through Nov. 30. A Christmas Open House is planned for Dec. 3 at 6 p.m. Santa will be on hand to visit all the little boys and girls. The library will be closed Thursday and Friday this week for the Thanksgiving holiday, but will reopen on Saturday. For more information, contact the library at 731-885-7000.
