Mildred Sherrill

Mildred Sherrill, 80, of Union City passed away Friday, Sept. 24, 2021, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, with visitation to be held from 1 p.m. until the hour of services Sunday at White-Ranson Funeral Home.
Brother Alex Fisher and Brother Charles Southerland will officiate. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Chad Dill, Justin Dill, Chance Stowe, Matt Sherrill, Lane Pruitt and Gene Butler. Leticia Butler and Courtney Sherrill will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Mrs. Sherrill was born in Lake County on April 2, 1941, to the late Ted and Annie Newsom McCoy. She married Jerry Sherrill on Oct. 26, 1968. He survives.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Sherrill is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Dill of Union City; two sons, Kevin Stowe (Lisa) and Jerry Sherrill II (Stefine), all of Union City; eight grandchildren, Leticia Butler (Gene), Chad Dill (Emmalee) and Justin Dill (Kristin), all of Union City, Chance Stowe (Calli) and Courtney Sherrill (Jeff), all of Troy, Matt Sherrill, Kaylee Debo and Austin Debo, all of Union City; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Martha Jackson (Don) of Troy; a brother, Raymond McCoy of Memphis; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Dorothy Jackson, Maggie Ford and Mae Terry; and two brothers, Charlie McCoy and John McCoy.
