Ruby Tuck

Mrs. Ruby N. Tuck, age 92, died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2021, at Van Ayer Nursing and Rehab Center in Martin. Funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Murphy Funeral Home in Martin with Rev. Kylan Mann officiating. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time. Pallbearers are Jamie Tuck, Will Tuck, Richard Kelly, Mark Rushing and Ronnie Parks. Honorary Pallbearers are Dr. Mark Gaylord, Dr. Lane Cowsert, Tommy Tuck and Michael Tuck. Mrs. Tuck was preceded in death by her husband, William Robert “Wayne” Tuck; her parents, William Arthur “Ottie” Derington and Lela Brown Lasater Derington; two brothers, Ottie Lee “Ted” Derington and Joe B. Derington; half-brothers and sisters, Ed Derington, Beauton Parks, Othel Dunning, Lola Mae Parks and Hattie Stanfill. She was a homemaker and a member of Central Baptist Church in Martin. Mrs. Tuck is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Gail Tuck; her grandson, Jamie (Amy) Tuck; and her great-grandson, Will Tuck. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Robert “Wayne” Tuck; her parents, William Arthur “Ottie” Derington and Lela Brown Lasater Derington; two brothers, Ottie Lee “Ted” Derington and Joe B.
