DOING THEIR PART — As COVID-19 rages on, the stress and strain of working long hours and treating more patients than ever has left healthcare workers all over the world exhausted. Seeing a need, nurse Paula Davis and co-worker Bernadette Wisdom have been working with local businesses and groups to provide each shift from Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City with a minimum of two meals per week. When Penny Hill Shoppe delivered a round of meals recently, Baptist employees (from left) Amy Harris, Tammy Albright, Damon Barnes and Crystal Broyles helped unload the lunches ready for their busy staff. To get more information on the effort, call Paula Davis at 731-335-5265.
