Richard Bennett

Richard Larry Bennett, age 86, of Dresden, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021, at Weakley County Nursing Home. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at 4 pm, at Sunset Cemetery with Joe Mosley officiating. Burial will immediately follow. Visitation will be held Tuesday at Bowlin Funeral Home from 3 pm until 3:45 pm. Mr. Bennett was born August 8, 1934, in Fruitland, to the late Richard Harry and Lucille McKinley Bennett. He was a member of the Dresden First United Methodist Church, and a United States Army Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Ann Stewart Bennett of Dresden; son, Keith Bennett of Clarksville; grandchildren. Collin Welker and Annie Bennett. both of Clarksville; and Ben, Troy, and Elsie Bennett, all of Long Meadow, Maine; and daughter-in-law, Colleen Bennett of Long Meadow, Maine.
