William R. “Bill” Dickey

William R. “Bill” Dickey, 82, of Tiptonville, died Monday, June 28, 2021, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Born Aug. 17, 1938, he was the son of the late Reuben and Estelle Hamilton Dickey. He was a retired executive with General Motors and proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Graveside services were to be held at 1 p.m. today, June 29, 2021, at Ebenezer Cemetery in Troy.
He is survived by his sister, Martha Newsom (David) of Memphis; two nephews, Jon Dickey (Lisa) of Ridgely and John Allen (Katie); two nieces, Amy Epperson (Rodney) and Elaine Burns (David); three great-nieces, Christina Davin Freeman, Anna Davin Flowers (Tolar) and Teresa Boyd (Dr. Dan); one great-great-niece, Addison Claire Freeman; and one great-great-nephew, Gage Powell Freemen.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Jane Allen; and one brother, Joe. G. Dickey.
