BUSY BEES — Obion County University of Tennessee Extension 4-H agent Julie Harstin helped 3-year-old Taleah Jeffrey plant wildflowers at the Trudy’s Kids Plant Pollinator Habitat, located on North Home Street, on Saturday. They were joined by La’Nya Young, one of 18 children from Trudy’s Kids Café and the Obion County 4-H Club, who participated in the 4-H Pollinator Habitat Program funded by Corteva and supported with plants and expertise from Quail Forever. The plants will help honey bees and monarch butteries. Taleah is the daughter of Tea Dumas and Jamie Jeffrey and La’Nya is the daughter of Ms. Dumas and Travis Young, all of Union City.
