HANDS-ON HANDS-UP — Obion County Central High School senior Grace Harris (left) and junior Mason Hicks, students in one of the criminal justice classes at the school, practice a high-risk traffic stop with the use of props and a retired police patrol car the Town of Troy recently donated to OCCHS and its criminal justice program. Students will be able to use the car for learning experience and to practice for SkillsUSA competition. Plus, criminal justice teacher Heath Cunningham will use it in his travels to the county’s schools in his capacity as systemwide safety coordinator.
