Elsie McCann

Mrs. Elsie C. (Kirk) McCann, 80, of Horn Lake, Miss., formerly of Obion County, died Wednesday, April 15, 2020, at her residence.
Graveside services were to be held 1 p.m. Friday in Ebenezer Cemetery near Troy, with the Rev. Bobby Williams officiating. There will be no public visitation.
Pallbearers will be Michael Whittemore, Steve Turner, Chris Jerome, Richard Kyle Harris, Bobby Loggins III and Kenneth Paschall.
She was born May 24, 1939, in Obion County, daughter of the late Clyde Anderson Kirk and Clara Ethel (Storey) Rambo. She married Vernon Ray McCann on May 17, 1969. He passed away Nov. 9, 2012.
She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by four daughters and three sons-in-law, Debra (Bobby) Loggins of Collierville, Donna Paschall of Jackson, Stacy (Steve) Turner of Hernando, Miss., and Lorrie (Chris) Jerome of Niceville, Fla.; a sister, Shirley Clouse of Union City; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Rick Lynn Harris and Melvin Wayne Harris.
