CHIMES TIME

CHIMES TIME — Chimes for Charity secretary Stacy Hogan took a food basket application over the phone as she manned the charitable organization’s phone line last week. The Chimes office officially opened for the season a week ago and will remain open through Friday to accept applications for baskets which will be delivered to families and individuals in need across Obion County on Christmas Eve. Applications will be taken by phone for those who call 599-4542 during the office hours of 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The easiest way to apply is by using a Google form available on the Chimes for Charity Facebook page. Friday is the application deadline.

Chimes for Charity’s online application for food baskets will remain open until Dec. 4.
Last Friday was the deadline for applications to be accepted by phone at the Chimes office number.
Chimes had received 236 applications by Monday afternoon, up from just 100 applications which had been received five days earlier.
The link to the online application is on Chimes’ Facebook page — listed as Chimes for Charity. There is no drop-off location for applications this year; they can be mailed to P.O. Box 661, Union City, TN 38281.

I have tried to call to apply for assistance for myself and my foster daughter since November. May I please get an application for Christmas basket or any help. My child is 16 years old and any help would be appreciated.
