Louise Smith

Services were planned for 3 p.m. today at Cryer Funeral Home in Obion, with Bro. Rick Knoll and Bro. Wayne Cox officiating. Burial was to follow in Cobbs Chapel Cemetery near Obion.
Pallbearers were to be Kenneth Sanders, Steve Smith, Martin Hamlin, Ryan Mouser, Steven Totty and Todd Littleton. Honorary pallbearers were to be Randall Sanders, Lowell Sanders, Lonnie Gaither, Brandon Smith, Peyton Lyons, Ethan Lyons and Kevin Darnall.
She was born Dec. 8, 1919, in Obion County, daughter of the late Lexie and Erie (Gwaltney) Tanner. She married David Smith Oct. 27, 1935. He died June 9, 2011.
She was a homemaker and a member of Oak Ridge Church of Christ near Obion.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Adeline (Tyler) Smith of Hornbeak; two daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda and Coleman Hamlin of Sharon and Joan and Randy Mouser of Obion; six grandchildren and their spouses, Steve and Judy (Stafford) Smith of Dyersburg, Anita (Smith) and Kevin Darnall of Hornbeak, Martin and Jennifer (Hundley) Hamlin of Sharon, Kristi (Hamlin) and Steven Totty of Martin, Ryan Mouser of Nashville and Kristin (Mouser) and Todd Littleton of Kenton; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Allien Sanders and Mary Ellen Petty.
