Charlotte Toon

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Union City. Father David Willett will officiate. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.
Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
Mrs. Toon was born Aug. 26, 1946, in Fancy Farm, Ky., daughter of the late Thomas “Rome” and Mary Earnestine (Elliott) Stamper. She married Carl Toon March 20, 1970. He survives. Charlotte was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and was a homemaker.
She is also survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Doris Toon of Union City and Shannon and Sydney Alexander Toon of Memphis; her brother, Ralph Eugene Stamper of Fancy Farm; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Darryl Toon; her grandson; Kyle Toon; and two brothers, Carl Stamper and Keith Stamper.
