Minnie Bumpus

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy, with Jimmy Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Terrace Hill Cemetery near Troy.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be family members.
The family requests that memorials be made to Troy Church of Christ.
She was born June 14, 1933, in Paris, Texas, daughter of the late David and Minnie (Jones) Walker. She married Bobby G. Bumpus July 23, 1955. He died Dec. 7, 2008. She was a member of Troy Church of Christ.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Theresa Bumpus of Troy; her daughter-in-law, Darlene Bumpus of Union City; her son-in-law, Robert Glass of Roanoke, Va.; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; her sister, Lena Steil of Philadelphia; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Larry Bumpus; her daughter, Beth Ann Glass; and two sisters.
