Jim Abbott

A gathering will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Rose Hill Cemetery in Obion. Friends are invited to join the family in a Dutch treat meal afterwards at Sassafraz Restaurant in Union City.
Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements.
Mr. Abbott was born Dec. 2, 1957, in Union City, son of the late James H. and Jane Abbott. Jim was known for his fast cars, motorcycles and boats. He loved traveling and living in Houston.
He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Melinda and Tom Endicott of Carmel, Ind.; his brother and sister-in-law, Jody and Amy Abbott of Eads; and two nieces and two nephews, Sara Endicott of Denver, Alaina Abbott of Eads, Adam Endicott of Indianapolis and Alex Abbott of Eads.
