Brian Hicks
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Central Baptist Church in Martin, with the Rev. Jerry Powell officiating. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery in Martin.
Visitation will be Saturday from 11 a.m. until funeral time at the church.
Pallbearers will be Tripp Powers, Jon Ed Powers, Kelley Powers, Trent Allman, Mike Hopper and Mike Roney.

Brian, who was born April 5, 1975, was a graduate of Obion County Central High School and the University of Tennessee at Martin, where he was a member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. He was also a member of Station Hill Church in Spring Hill.
He is survived by his wife, Mendy Dayle (Lewallen) Hicks of Spring Hill; his children, Mary Chandler Hicks and Hudson Michael Hicks; and his mother, Shelia (Vowell) Hicks of Springville. He is also survived by his father and stepmother, Michael “Mickey” and Stacey (Robbins) Hicks; his sister, Katie Bottorff; his grandfather, Elmo Ables; and two uncles and his aunt, Marty Ables and Chuck and Julie Ables, all of Martin.
Brian was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Glenn Douglas Vowell and Ruth Marie (Allison) Vowell; his paternal grandmother, Sally Ables; and his uncle, Ronald Douglas Vowell.
