Dixie Wilson

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Mickey Hanks officiating. Burial will follow in Hornbeak City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Billy Wilson, Trey Small, Matt Wroe, Douglas Ferrell, Preston Small and Toby Wroe.
The family requests that memorials be made to Hornbeak Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
She was born Dec. 19, 1931, in Tiptonville, daughter of the late Albert Thomas and Lottie Mae (Michael) Vaughn. She married Mose Summers Sept. 25, 1949. He died Feb. 25, 1976. She then married Charles Jackie Wilson Aug. 25, 1979. He survives.
She had been a dental assistant for Dr. Al Burson in Ridgely for more than 30 years and was a member of Hornbeak Baptist Church. She was active in the American Cancer Society, where she won many awards. Mrs. Wilson was a charter member of the Obion County Survivors Group and was also a member of the Red Hat Society.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Janis and Herman Small of Tampa, Fla.; two grandchildren and their spouses, Tiffany and Matt Wroe of Safety Harbor, Fla., and Trey and Emily Small of Jasper, Ind.; five great-grandchildren, Paige Small, Preston Small, Savanna Small, Maggie Wroe and Toby Wroe; three stepsons, Charles T. Wilson of Florida, William L. Wilson of Samburg and John Wilson of Millington; three step-grandchildren; and a step-great-grandson.
She was also preceded in death by four sisters.
