Pauline Thetford

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home at 201 Dunlap St. in Paris.
The funeral service was to be at Sulphur Well Church of Christ in Springville at 11 a.m. today. Randy Stephens was to officiate and pallbearers were to be Larry Parker, Logan Mayo, Charlie Sweatt, Lynn Parker, Larry Wimberley and Glenn Wimberley. The Sulphur Well Sewing Sisters are named as honorary pallbearers.
Interment was to be at Sulphur Well Church of Christ Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Down Syndrome Association of West TN, 1804 Hwy 45 By-pass #110, Jackson, TN 38305.
She was a member of Sulphur Well Church of Christ, where she was co-leader of Primetimers and served on the cooking teams and card ministry. Pauline was a lifelong servant to others. She was also a longtime former member of Main Street Church of Christ in Milan and had retired from Ceco Door Company in Milan after 25 years. She was also a former Jaycette in Milan. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and crafts of any kind.
She was born Feb. 8, 1940, in Newbern to the late Alton Qualls and the late Louise (Ross) Qualls. Pauline married Roy Thetford Aug. 22, 1958, and he survives.  
She is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Kevin Mayo of Bartlett; two sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Anita Thetford of Rives and Rance and Deeanna Thetford of Medina; two brothers and her sister-in-law, Joe Qualls of Newbern and Don and Becky Qualls of Obion; two sisters-in-law, Sarah Boatwright of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Beverly Albritton of Delray Beach, Fla.; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Allison and Clint Ary, Ashley Thetford, Lauren and Blake Neal, Logan Mayo, Sadie Thetford, Ellie Thetford and Neely Thetford; and several nieces and nephews.
