Wanda Baker

Services were 2 p.m. Tuesday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Marvin Wilson officiating. Burial followed in Terrace Hill Cemetery in Troy.
Pallbearers were Daniel Pruitt, Jimmy Baker, James Baker, Jason Baker, Ronnie Hobbs and Eric Doughten.
The family requests that memorials be made to Antioch Baptist Church in Hornbeak.
She was born Nov. 9, 1941, in Obion County, daughter of the late Henry Alton and Mamie Louise (Carroll) Scurlock. She married Marshall Baker Jr. Jan. 23, 1961. He died Oct. 10, 2004.
She was a retired employee of the former Brown Shoe Co. and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Hornbeak.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Teresa Kay and Ronnie Hobbs of Kenton; two sons and her daughter-in-law, Harold and Rosemary Baker and Jimmy Baker, all of Union City; five grandchildren, Jason Baker, Ria Doughten and Daniel Neil Pruitt, all of Union City, and Una (Baker) Johnson and James Marshall Baker II, both of Gleason; 19 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Anita Strain of Obion and Joyce Ferrell of Hornbeak; and two brothers, Jackie Scurlock of Troy and Gene Scurlock of Samburg.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Nicky Scurlock.
