Shirley Helms

Shirley was co-owner of Marco Self Storage, along with her husband, Jerry H. Helms.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Jerry H. Helms, whom she married Sept. 3, 1966; her son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Jill Brasfield of Estero, Fla.; her daughter and son-in-law, Tonya and Butch Estes of Miami; three grandchildren and the spouse of one, Jordon and Thomas Madre and Macy Brasfield, all of Raleigh, N.C., and Jackson Brasfield of Estero, Fla.; three sisters and her brother-in-law, Carolyn Brandon of Union City, Kay Franco of Concord, N.C., and Joan and Bob Zimmerman of Concord; her brother and sister-in-law, David and Amy Everett of Hornbeak; and her father, Lawrence “Bill” Everett of Clinton, Ky.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Hilda Everett; and her brother, John Larry Everett.
