Hollis Diviney

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy, with the Rev. Jerry Leggett officiating. Burial will follow, with military honors, in Mount Ararat Cemetery near Troy.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the hour of services at the funeral home Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Dwight Baggett, Kyle Baggett, Kurt Baggett, David McCullough, Ron Jackson and Glenn Rudd.
He was born July 9, 1936, in Waverly, son of the late Jess Quinton and Mary Edith (Anderson) Diviney. He married the former Frances Rebecca Baker Jan. 29, 1963. She passed away July 1, 2015. He was a retired mechanic, having worked for more than 50 years, and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church No. 2 near Rives.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Chris Barnes of Water Valley, Ky.; two sons, Gary Diviney of Troy and Tim Diviney of Union City; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three sisters.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
