Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Phillip Pinion officiating.
Private entombment will be held at a later date.
The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
The family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis or to the American Heart Association.
She was born Oct. 8, 1930, in Hickman County, Ky., daughter of the late Charles Rivers and Irene (Jones) Bellew. She married John Russell Walling Aug. 19, 1951. He died Aug. 2, 2007. She was a retired bookkeeper for several local accounting firms. She was a member of Union City First United Methodist Church, Order of Eastern Star and many other civic organizations.
She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Donna and Gary Fields of Union City and Vickie Walling of Arlington, Va.; her son, Bill Walling of Dallas; her grandson and his wife, Jarrod and Carol Williams of Memphis; and her brother, Danny Bellew of Clinton, Ky.
