Catherine Jones

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with Dr. Bobby Williams officiating.  Burial will follow in Mount Ararat Cemetery near Troy.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Casual attire is requested.
Her grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Jones was born Sept. 27, 1926, in Weakley County, daughter of the late Dick and Vinnie (Matheny) Law. She married Johnny Aster Jones in August 1945. He died April 4, 2007. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include three daughters and her son-in-law, Sarah Mapes of Lincoln, Neb., Beverly Claudio of River Grove, Ill., and Barbara and Tom Dober of Necedah, Wis.; three sons, Bill Jones of Union City, Robert Jones of Port Charlotte, Fla., and George Jones of Troy; her sister, Betty Patterson of Fulton; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her brother and five sisters.
