Charlie Brown

Memorial services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Jimmy Brown will officiate.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 1 p.m. until the hour of services on Sunday.
Mr. Brown was born Oct. 29, 1930, in Dickson County, son of the late Harry Moore and Lula (Horton) Brown. He married the former Madge Johnson Feb. 23, 1981. She died March 14, 2014. Mr. Brown was a retired carpenter and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church near Rives. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of the Western Sun Masonic Lodge No. 88 in Troy.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Deborah Grace and Jon Strong of Murfreesboro; his son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie Ray and Lisa Brown of Woodstock, Ga.; his stepson and daughter-in-law, Randy and Ellen Cozart of Mt. Juliet; three grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Pamela Waggoner; five sisters; and four brothers.
