Matthew Hastings

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Fulton. The Rev. Chad Morrow and pastor Stephen Cavness will officiate. Burial will follow in the Obion County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton from 5-8 p.m. today. He will lie in state at the church from noon Tuesday until the service hour.
Pallbearers will be Brady Simmons, Mason Garland, Landon Nevil, Ben St. Onge, Morgan Worley and J.T. McIntyre. Honorary pallbearers will be Dakota Coley, Tyler Crawford, Chad Robertson, Eric Stoker, Zach Moss and Chase Moss.
Memorials may be made to the Relay For Life, 302 Carr St., Fulton, KY 42041.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Fulton and was employed by Elite Heating & Air in Mayfield, Ky. He was a 2014 graduate of Fulton City High School and attended West Kentucky Community College in Paducah, Ky. He had lived all of his life in this area.
He is survived by his parents, Roger and Debbie (Morrow) Hastings of Fulton; his brother and sister-in-law, Dustin and Stoya Hastings of Murray, Ky.; his nephew, Elias Ryan Hastings of Murray; two aunts, Brenda Thomas of Union City and Connie Wiggins of Fulton; and his uncle, Charles Morrow of Fulton.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, H.E. and Ruby Morrow; and his paternal grandparents, Donald and Delila Hastings.
