Pauline Sublett
Annie Pauline (Phebus) Sublett, 92, of Rives died July 4, 2015, at her residence.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, with the Rev. Chip Davis officiating.
Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. Monday at White-Ranson Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Conn, Kyle McConnell, Phillip Sublett, Kooper Newton, Jim Eakes and John Thomas.
She was born Jan. 2, 1923, in Obion County, daughter of the late Benjamin Thurman and Laura Dale (Thorne) Phebus. She married James Carl Sublett Aug. 26, 1944. He died March 9, 2003. She was a homemaker and a veteran of the United States Navy, having served as a WAV during World War II. She was a member of Union Church in Rives.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and David Sinclair of Obion and Betty and Mark Moore of Union City; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Cathy Sublett of Clarksville and Jack and Natasha Sublett of Millington; three grandchildren, Shannon Eakes, Angie Newton and Jade Sublett; three great-grandchildren, Ashley Brooks, Kayla Courtwright and Kooper Newton; and her great-great-grandson, Parker Bryant.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Lucille Flippen, Martha Frances Mathis and Catherine Cotten; and two brothers, Charles Phebus and Bill Phebus.
