Wanda Sue Murphy, 77, of Union City passed away 8 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at the Obion County Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Johnny Chessor and Brother J.T. Brown will officiate. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from noon until the hour of services Monday.
Pallbearers will be George Land, Rusty Daniels, Stanley Murphy, Chad Daniels, Cody Adams and Norman Edgin.
Mrs. Murphy was born June 5, 1938, in Hickman, Ky., daughter of the late Earl and Lena (Martin) Kemp. She married Charles Murphy July 8, 1957. He survives. Mrs. Murphy had been employed at the former Salant & Salant in Union City and the former Troy Manufacturing. She was a member of Evangel Temple Assembly of God in Union City.
She is also survived by one grandson, Chuck Glover of Union City; and one great-granddaughter, Khloe Glover of Kenton.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Teressa Ann Glover; two sisters, Frances Wright and Mary Catherine Jones; and three brothers, Charles Kemp, James Kemp and David Kemp.
