Ken Tosky

Kenneth Ralph “Ken” Tosky, 79, of the Walnut Log community passed away 10 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2015, at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday at Lake Road Baptist Church near Union City. Brother Jerry Leggett and Brother Chip Davis will officiate. Burial will follow in Fremont Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Lake Road Baptist Church from 11 a.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.
Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Tosky was born March 6, 1936, in Cincinnati, Ohio, son of the late Leonard and Carrie Tosky. He married Judith (Kurtz) Tosky June 9, 1989. She survives. During Mr. Tosky’s career in construction management, he was associated with several firms, including Proctor and Gamble, Gilbane Building Company in Baltimore and Sverdrup Parcel in St. Louis.
After retiring, Mr. and Mrs. Tosky moved to the Walnut Log community because he was an avid bass fisherman and there he enjoyed many outings on Reelfoot Lake. For many years he served as a volunteer at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City and was a director on the board of Helping Hands Ministry and was a member of Lake Road Baptist Church.
He is also survived by one daughter, Kathy Barfield; three sons and daughters-in-law, Ken and Jenny Tosky, Chris and Dawn Tosky and Steve and Christina Tosky; and nine grandchildren.
