Dorothy Lemonds
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home, with Jeff O’Dell officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Evan Jones, Michael Hickey, John Lemonds, Jeremy Jones, Nathan Elrod and Brent Elrod.
The family will accept flowers at the funeral home or memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Hos-pital.
She was a retired employee for Northwest Tennessee Economic Development Council and was a member of Ridgely Church of Christ. Dorothy was also a member of the Ridgely Women’s Club.
Survivors include her two daughters, Judy (Lemonds) Jones and husband, Evan, of Tiptonville and Nancy (Lemonds) Hickey and husband, Michael, of Jackson; two sons, Jerry Lemonds and wife, Elaine, of Harrisburg, Ill., and Dr. Mike Lemonds of Memphis; her brother, Marlon Peal of Las Vegas; five grandchildren, Jan (Lemonds) Crockett, Angela (Lemonds) Elrod, John David Lemonds, Jeremy Evan Jones and Katherine “Katie” Lynn Jones; seven great-grandchildren; and her sister-in-law, Maxie Peal of Union City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marlon Lemonds; her parents, John and Annie Mansfield Peal; her sister, Carmen Newell; and two brothers, James Peal and J.S. Peal.
