Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Mount Moriah Cemetery near Obion, with the Rev. Wilson Walley officiating.
There will be no visitation.
Cryer Funeral Home in Obion is in charge of arrangements.
He was born in Noonan Ga., April 1, 1969, son of Pamela (Blackman) Tate of Columbus, Ga., and Dr. Griffin Danny Tate of Obion.
He was a 1987 graduate of Shaw High School in Columbus and was an independent contractor for Fed Ex.
He is also survived by his brother, Owen Tate of Columbus; his sister, Vanessa Tate of Obion; his stepmother, Mary Tate of Obion; and his grandmother, Marilyn Blackman of Columbus.
